SLFU-The BA will ensure all business processes and requirements are accounted for in new system. Work with vendor on any interfaces, strive to improve the data quality of the current systems / software application and prepare the data for migration into new applications. The BA will act as liaison between the units and vendors. BA will be responsible for conversion, and plan, design, develop, and implement. SORU-The BA will work with the unit, vendors, and DAS to ensure all business requirements are met. Support staff during transition to electronic system. Create test plans for conversion to electronic files. Specific Services Required 1. Technical Tasks a. Obtain an understanding of the current Licensing system and the current document management process. i. Identify and document historical data quality issues ii. Identify and document ongoing data quality issues iii. Identify and document data flows to/from external systems iv. Identify and document error handling procedures v. Identify and document related data deficiencies b. Develop data quality assurance procedures and reporting tools to align existing data requirements i. Identify data quality issues that can be corrected without human intervention, and develop automated procedures for implementing the corrections ii. Identify data quality issues that require human intervention, and develop procedures and reports to facilitate that human intervention. c. Work as a liaison between the vendors and the units. d. Work with Vendor to develop plans to migrate existing data from legacy system into new systems i. Collaborate with DAS ii. Create procedures for handling extract, transform, load (ETL) exceptions iii. Create procedures to testing and validating all ETL processes. e. Develop data quality assurance solutions for the new system. i. Identify a suite of reports that identify data quality issues f. Work with vendors to identify and prevent or mitigate data quality issues. g. Identify potential issues related to data migration 2. Management Tasks a. Meet with DESPP resources to collaboratively identify and document requirements related to specific projects. b. Develop Project Plan (including work breakdown structures and risk analysis) for implementing new systems. c. Coordinate all project work with the vendor project manager, the Department of Administrative Services and State project resources i. Coordinate the implementation of the SLFU and SOR systems, including coordination of all external interfaces ii. Coordinate testing of the SLFU and SOR systems, including system testing and user acceptance testing throughout design, implementation, and testing.
