The project will include the gathering and validation of requirements, data conversion, interfaces, complete documentation and the delivery of test plans. Specific Services Required 1. Technical Tasks a. Perform comprehensive analysis and evaluation of current time recording systems. i. Identify and document historical data quality issues ii. Identify and document ongoing data quality issues iii. Identify and document data flows to/from external systems iv. Identify and document error handling procedures v. Identify and document related data deficiencies b. Develop data quality assurance procedures and reporting tools to align existing data requirements i. Identify data quality issues that can be corrected without human intervention, and develop automated procedures for implementing the corrections ii. Identify data quality issues that require human intervention, and develop procedures and reports to facilitate that human intervention. c. Develop plans to migrate existing data from the two legacy time recording systems to the new Kronos system. i. In collaboration with Kronos and DAS, create extract, transform, data load plans ii. Create procedures for handling extract, transform, load (ETL) exceptions iii. Create procedures to testing and validating all ETL processes. d. Develop data quality assurance solutions for the new system. i. Identify a suite of reports that identify data quality issues e. Work with Kronos to identify and prevent or mitigate data quality issues. f. Identify potential issues related to data migration 2. Management Tasks a. Meet with DESPP resources to collaboratively identify and document requirements related to time keeping, and overtime. b. Develop Project Plan (including work breakdown structures and risk analysis) for implementing new Kronos system c. Coordinate all project work with the vendor project manager, the Department of Administrative Services and State project resources i. Coordinate design of the new time keeping system and approval of this design by the states IT governing body ii. Coordinate the implementation of the Kronos system, including coordination of all external interfaces iii. Coordinate testing of the Kronos system, including system testing and user acceptance testing throughout design, implementation, and testing.
