The will have strong experience analyzing, joining, relating and integrating relational data from multiple sources into a consolidated repository or data warehouse. Data modeling, data warehousing and multi-dimensional skills are preferred. Not looking for Database Administrators or PL-SQL programmers, however, are looking for the relational database and SQL querying skills associated with those roles. RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze, architect, design, develop, support, and test data integration logic and ETL processes within an Oracle data warehouse. Analyze source data and identify relationships (ASCII and EBCDIC/COBOL source files) Import / Define source file layouts and fields within an ETL tool Define and build integration and transformation logic from sources to data warehouse tables Recommend data warehouse enhancements as required to support integrations Validate and test data integration logic Complete other duties as assigned POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: A Bachelor?s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent education in a related discipline is required. Related work can be substituted for educational requirements. Job Related Experience: A Minimum of three to five years in data warehousing, data analysis, database or related experience. Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: A strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases Proficient in the use of both SQL databases and the deployment of ETL tools Two years of experience defining integration logic and data transformation using ETL tools Experience in Quality Assurance and testing of integration and ETL logic Experience designing and deploying enterprise wide Business Intelligence Solutions Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Data Junction, Data Stage is desired The ability to interact with external and internal clients for the purpose of data gathering and discovery Experience using at least one of the major reporting or relational OLAP tools Experience with MS Access, Oracle, SQL Server and other RDBMS is desired Experience with COBOL copybooks and EBCDIC data is desired Financial Services Industry experience is desired with specific interest in Commercial or Mortgage Lending Strong organizational skills Strong written, verbal and non-verbal skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
