The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for supporting Core Product Development (CPD) project activities by assisting with the requirements, design, development, implementation, and administration of product development projects. This role requires that the PM accomplish the following: collaborate with internal users to identify business needs and perform project scoping; create functional requirements; create project plans; perform issue tracking; manage problem resolution; coordinate project activities across multiple department/groups. The PM will coordinate project activities and deliverables under leadership of the CPD Program Managers (PGM). The PM may be responsible, in full or in part, for any deliverables outlined by the PGM to achieve project objectives and complete other tasks as assigned by the PGM or other senior CFP management.

The PM may manage both strategic and tactical portfolio initiatives, including product portfolio, internal applications, and infrastructure support projects, as prioritized by Walk-In senior management team. The PM works in partnership with all impacted functional areas and stakeholders to ensure a successful start-up and completion of the project.

The PM needs to be an effective leader with the ability to initiate action and manage multiple highly complex projects concurrently. The PM will be accountable for executing effective and timely communication regarding the current status of all projects to the business stakeholders.

The PM should have a strong understanding of the Walk-In products and business processes.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate project activities related to the implementation of CPD Projects
• Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring the following:
o Estimates. (planning, Level 0, Level 1)
o Overall Project Timeline
o Project Milestones
o Resource identification
o Communication Plans
o Tasks, Resources, and Estimated Dates
o Task Dependencies
• Control and track project performance in respect to Time, Cost, and Quality by:
o Constantly evaluating project progress
o Conducting regular team status meetings
o Regularly review project resource actual efforts against planned and estimated time
o Reporting project status on a weekly basis to management and the project team
o Executing and updating management plans as necessary
o Resolving and documenting issues
o Appropriately communicate project risks and issues to Walk-In senior management
• Serve as liaison between CPD and business units in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met

Other Duties / Responsibilities include:
• Participate in and lead meetings with internal and/or external clients, vendors and others to gather business requirements and to coordinate project deliverables.
• Effectively work within a matrixed team environment.
• Responsible for assisting in relationship building among development team(s) and business units.
• Assist the CPD team with other activities as needed as identified by the Program Manager.

Skills Required
• Five or more years of program and/or project management experience in a software development environment
• Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in all software development lifecycle disciplines
• Proven leadership skills and business acumen in both a traditional and matrixed team environment
• Exceptional time management skills
• Strong Relationship management and Negotiation skills
