Candidates must have a broad technology background with extensive knowledge of enterprise system/Infrastructure management and monitoring tools such as: IBM Tivoli, SerVista, NetView, SolarWinds, Nastel Auto Pilot, CA Wily Introscope, and potentially BMC ProActiveNet, IBM OMNIbus, CA Service Operations Insight or ITCAM Suite of tools and its deployment. The candidate should have extensive experience in infrastructure, architecture and operations support functions in a fast-paced, time-to-market-driven environment. FEPOC is in the process of making system Enhancements to the Claims processing applications and is looking for a candidate to lead the Performance testing initiatives for this project. This project will be utilizing midrange and mainframe platforms and will support SOA technologies for Enterprise Service Bus, Business Rules Engine with Web Services. Tasks: Work with customer to drive the current state analysis and documentation of systems monitoring and management capabilities Facilitate the formulation of an enterprise monitoring and management strategy Manage the delivery of an enterprise monitoring and management system per agreed upon strategy Design and develop custom dashboards and reports using a variety of tools, including Crystal Reports/Business Objects, MS SQL Reporting Services, Sharepoint, etc Provide test and production support assistance for monitoring software including but not limited to Tivoli, NetView, Adlex RUM (Real User Monitor), SerVista, SolarWinds, CA Wily Introscope, NetIQ, etc, Provide technical direction and participate in systems engineering and solution deployment activities to implement a Business Service Management Centralized Monitoring tool across the program. Participates in technical architecture and design discussions to determine the most appropriate performance monitoring solution Develops custom function/sub-routine libraries to support automated performance monitoring solutions. Installs and configures monitoring tools such as Diagnostics, SiteScope, Wily to monitor and collect performance metrics Develops, maintains, recommends, documents and supports tools and backend utilities to perform performance testing and performance monitoring Creates and presents a Performance Planning Strategy that outlines Current Production Workload distribution, Performance Requirements and Test/Production Environment Requirements and Performance Optimization results Performs the following Communication tasks o Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis o Lead, facilitate and participate in various FEPOC meetings o Ensure effective communication within and outside of the project team o Report status to Resource Manager on a regular basis o Assist Resource Manager in preparing and reporting statuses to Sr. Management and other Project Stakeholders Required Skills/Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering or equivalent work experience required. # 1 must have: Direct hands-on experience with Network and Systems Monitoring and Management tools, implementation, advanced configuration, management, and administration.
