The Architect will be responsible for defining the overall architecture that constitutes the Architecture Framework, to guide the development and implementation of applications and infrastructure for delivery of services on mobile devices (phones and tablets) Responsibilities: Design an Architecture Framework that lays out the components for applications and infrastructure development and service delivery and their relationships Incorporate well founded industry approaches in the definition of the Framework Evaluate and choose the best technologies, components and subsystems to build efficient and performing product features Perform architectural design and documentation Translate clients business needs into the framework definition Communicate and document designs Incorporate integrate considerations to enterprise services (ESB, such as content management, analytics, and authentication and profile stores) Skills: Good understanding of multi-tier enterprise architecture and system of records Ability to build and refine internal and external mobile architectures and frameworks Hands-on experience with architecture, design, and development of mobile applications Software development experience with large enterprise level (web services, databases, security) platforms and technologies Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring Experience on developing software in Agile environment Experience throughout the mobile lifecycle: application development (application structure; device and operating system APIs; debugging; performance; security), deployment Expert level experience and knowledge with several of these enterprise server-side development: Web services, RESTful services, messaging queuing, Sockets and JavaScript frameworks, SOA, ESB Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with non-functional attributes of enterprise solutions (e.g. security, load balancing, and performance) Solid understanding of databases (relational and NoSQL DBs) Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related disciplines 4+ years of experience in enterprise software development   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
