Complete Description: The Senior Technical Architecture Specialist (STAS) is a technical expert responsible for planning project direction in collaboration with various State Agencies as they relate to future project planning. This role is one where the ideal candidate will seek to identify key enterprise IT trends, products and services beyond State technology boundaries to the ever-evolving IT practices in the private sector. A qualified candidate will have worked with technical architecture including, but not limited to: GIS, ERPs, CASE Management, Infrastructure and application design. Responsibilities: * All roles specified in STAS1 plus the following • Architect systems and design infrastructure/applications for industry specific roles that require integration with statewide systems or applications. • Architect/implement technologies that require GIS Expertise. • May interact with executive level business users or technical experts. • May function as an expert related to architectural best practices. Required Skills: * Experience evaluating architecture * Experience evaluating designs and solutions * Experience evaluating solutions for compliance to technology standard/policies * Prior work lead teams technical strategy, direction and approach * Technical architecture and design including hardware/software integration * Facilitation of meetings * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Prior experience architecting solutions that integrate across systems Desired Skills: * Prior experience in negotiation and mediation * Work with executive stakeholders * Prior formal Project management * Work with Enterprise Architectures * Analyzing new technologies and trends   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
