The Scrum Masters primary responsibility is to organize/coordinate the activities of the Agile methodology in a Scrum Sprint. This includes, but is not limited to, conduct the daily scrum meeting, sprint planning, sprint review demo, backlog sizing/refactoring, and sprint retrospectives. The Scrum Master assists the team in becoming a self-organizing team, removes impediments preventing the team from accomplishing its sprint goals, and shields the team from external interference. Furthermore, the Scrum Master improves the velocity and productivity (burn rate) of the scrum team by analyzing team metrics and identifying improvements to the teams engineering practices and tools. The Scrum Master facilitates creativity and empowerment of the development team, communicates information on the teams progress and successes to all stakeholders through timely creation of the BurnDown/BurnUp charts and other team metrics. The Scrum Master also facilitates close collaboration between the client product owner and the team. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION (PRIORITIZED) Technical Skills * Experienced as a Scrum Master/PM in Agile/Scrum projects * 4+ years work experience in agile development. * 6+ years of Application Development work experience. * A Bachelors degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) Business Skills * Detail oriented deliverable focused * Good written and verbal communication skills * The ability to understand applications from a technical and business perspective * The candidate must be a proven team leader with strong interpersonal skills * Ability to make sound decisions based on business, technology, and QA guidelines * Preferred Experience and Capability V The preferred candidate will have one or all of the following in addition to all the minimum experience and capability listed above: Skills & Experience * Previous experience in using an Agile Management tool (TFS, Rally, ScrumWorks, VersionOne) * CSM certification * Experience with working on applications built in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) * Any previous experience in company and/or projects that have developed applications using TDD techniques in an Agile/Scrum process lifecycle * Skills with GWT user story development * Skills with MS Office, Sharepoint and Project   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
