Candidate will have extensive experience with the testing and risk based analysis of web based applications as they will be accountable for ensuring quality and mitigating risks for the project. Candidate should have a proven history of success as a QA lead. Candidate must have excellent time management and communication skills as they will need to communicate with both a technical and non-technical audience. Candidate must have proven experience dealing directly and successfully with individuals outside of the technology organization. Candidate also must have willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. REQUIREMENTS: Proficient with testing web applications Proficient with System, Integration, End to End and Regression Testing Proficient with Quality tools (QC/ALM, QTP/UFT, SoapUI) Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with database and backend system testing Experience with Agile Methodology Experience working in a regulated industry Experience with design and architecture documentation Familiar with eCommerce/internet technology Familiar with Agile planning tools (Version One tool, JIRA, Rally etc.) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to drive best practices around testing, defect tracking, test suite maintainability, and quality Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, with focus on mitigating risks to the project Maintain open lines of communication relating to the status of the project and its risks and challenges Ability to take leadership in proposing, researching and implementing creative testing solutions Maintain a consistent focus on quality for the entire project Ability to effectively perform the QA lead role Responsible for creating and maintaining automation scripts Mentor junior team members Perform peer reviews, ensuring test suites adhere to standards Stay current with rapidly changing web standards and encourage team awareness and appropriate adoption of emerging technologies Become a recognized subject matter expert within their fields of expertise Manage own time and the time of other testers on projects according to estimates developed during project planning Must display ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to adapt to projects that may fall outside of existing technology skills, and show willingness to learn new skills Must have a collaborative and positive attitude   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
