Advanced knowledge of standards and procedures for building and configuring hardened Unix machines. Knowledge of basic software tools. Prefer knowledge of: Tripwire for Server and/or Tripwire for Enterprise PowerBroker Software RSA enVision Knowledge of information security standards, process, policies and metrics Familiarity with security related requirements. Duties: Ensure that all Servers and Network Devices are regularly scanned and adequately monitored by the appropriate tools. This includes deployment or re-deployment of Tripwire, PowerBroker, Net IQ, etc. In addition, ensure that alerts being generated by the monitoring tools are reviewed, resolved and documented.Assist in evaluation, development and implementation of security policies and procedures to ensure a secure computing environment. Perform the day-to-day activities performed by the Information Security Group, including evaluating new initiatives/projects and Business Change Requests (BCRs) for their security impact and to ensure that proper security requirements and guidance are provided to maintain security posture.
