We have a project with our client in Tallahassee, FL that requires a Technical Product Support Analyt This position will support the Geographic Information Systems Office with the System of Engagement (SoE) in the development and deployment of cloud solutions, GIS support, as well as other activities as outlined in the primary job duties/task. Provide support for child welfare applications and initiatives. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Assist with the System of Engagement (SoE) in the development and deployment of cloud solutions aimed at the integration of systems to ensure optimal resource utilization and build a connected experience for all users of the Department. Support the GIS Office Team with activities that explore and optimize existing processes, applications, legacy systems, databases, web interfaces and/or hardware logic, in order to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements in support of current and future business needs. Work with both internal and external customers to gather business requirements, develop deliverables, perform both database and data analysis. Allowing for effective sharing of information and adoption of core and new technology for all of the Department. Provide GIS technical support and training to customers of the GIS Office in coordination with GIS Office Management facilitating opportunities that build expertise. In addition, provide GIS support in the production of geospatial products, such as, custom maps, web maps, creating and maintaining geographic data along with its metadata for the GIS Office and its customers leveraging mobile devices and platform apps to drive innovation. Perform quality assurance and quality control workflows in support of initiatives to move the Department toward becoming a data driven organization. Perform other technical assignments needed to support the GIS Office. These assignments include, but are not limited to data distribution, map scanning and archiving, mobile platform support, writing technical reports, and/or workflow documentation. GIS Data Management including the application of governance practices, creation, and maintenance of metadata. Assist customers in identifying GIS solutions for streamlining their workflows and processes. Coordinate with Transportation Technology Office for the development, testing, and deployment of applications. Assist the Transportation Technology Office with troubleshooting web application issues and providing solutions as they occur. Provide and assist with technology and functional upgrades of web applications. Migrate existing applications to the GIS Enterprise platform. Provide research and training on the utilization of the latest spatial technologies, e.g., ArcGIS Pro and Esris mobile solutions. Assist with data updates of web map applications as required. Create, publish, and share as needed both map and data services for consumption within the ArcGIS Platform. Perform regular health checks on web mapping sites and notify Administrators of any issues. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Experience in web-based application development with ArcGIS Enterprise. Experience with Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online. Experience with HTML5. Experience with ArcGIS for Desktop and Extensions.
