The candidate must be skilled in data analysis of legacy data including DB2/zOS, Oracle and SQL Server database platforms. The candidate must be able to understand and demonstrate the ability to develop data cleansing and conversion processes utilizing modern data integration tools. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team to supports the Departments data needs. 5 Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Or equivalent work experience 6 Experience The candidate must have skill and 5 years combined experience in data analysis and migration/conversion for the following database platforms: 1. DB2 for z/OS 2. Oracle 10g and above 3. MS SQL Server 4. Azure SQL Additional Experience: 1. Experience with cleansing and migrating data from legacy platforms to cloud infrastructure 2. Experience with data integration tools including Informatica 3. Experience with data conversion of legacy data to ERP platforms 7 Primary Job Duties/ Tasks This resource will primarily be tasked with performing data cleansing, conversion, and migration activities including, but not limited to the following: 1. Data cleansing, migration and conversion analyses for effort, application compatibility, remediation impact and priority. 2. Plan, design, implement, support for data cleansing, migration and conversion. 3. Develop and maintain procedures and documentation 4. Assist with training other technical staff. 5. Creates accurate code to Load the data into the target database. 6. Design, develop and execute the tests that confirm the success of the data conversion process. 7. Resource may be required to perform other data analysis or infrastructure activities as requested. 8 Job Specific Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs): The submitted candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of data analysis. 2. Ability to work independently in the technical analysis, evaluation and resolution of large Enterprise data migration/conversion issues or problems, with little or no assistance, and to make decisions and recommendations to remediate those issues or problems. 3. Knowledge of Relational Database Management principles, design and practices. 4. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work assignments for him/herself or lower level data analysts. 5. Skill in accurately estimating time requirements for data migration/conversion tasks for a project. 6. Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS . 7. Advanced knowledge of Oracle 10g and higher. 8.
