Job Description Administrator: Cisco WAN And LAN, Cisco ASA, Cisco VoIP, Cisco Wireless Cisco NX OS Cisco UCS VPN

Description:

Client is seeking proposals from staffing agencies for the services of a Network Administrator, Network Engineer and Programmer Analyst-ERP Specialist. The services will be provided for an initial six-month period with up to two three-month option periods.

Required Skills:

(1) Network Administrator:

*Manages the testing, installation, and support of network communications, including LAN/MAN/WAN systems.
*Performs system-level design and configuration of products including determination of hardware, OS, and other platform specifications.
*Provides assistance and oversight for all information systems operations activities, including computer and telecommunications/communications operations, data entry, data control, LAN/MAN/WAN.
*Active Directory, Name Resolution (DNS), etc. within large (300+ server) network environments.
*Network monitoring/performance systems. Tools include: Solar Winds, Kiwi Network Flow analysis, Network Performance Center, Cisco Network Compliance Manager, and Other network management tools, as required.
*Directs compilation of records and reports concerning network operations and maintenance.
*Troubleshoots network performance issues. Analyzes network traffic and provides capacity planning solutions administration and operations support, operating systems programming, system security policy procedures, and/or web strategy and operations.
*Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network performance. Troubleshoots network systems when necessary and makes improvements to the network.
*Interacts with internal clients to resolve escalated helpdesk issues.
*Ensures Helpdesk Service Level Agreements (SLA) are defined, communicated to the internal clients, monitored and maintained.
*Participates in the on-call rotation as needed and is the first notification for on-call escalations.
*Responsible for the purchasing and inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
*Promotes responsible usage and care of the Agencys equipment.

Experience:
*Seven (7) to ten (10) years experience with at least five (5) years in network administration/engineering.

(2) Network Engineer:

*Creates quality and optimal Enterprise Solutions Design to meet the business objectives of the Agency.
*Acts as a technology expert on a project team to address systems, software integration and compatibility issues.
*Works with subject matter experts in IT areas to arrive at best designs.
*Maintains effectiveness of designs to meet schedules and keep costs in line with the project goal.
*Documents High Level/Architectural Design for solutions to support the Agency. Interacts with internal clients to resolve escalated helpdesk issues.
*Ensures Helpdesk Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are defined, communicated to the internal clients, monitored and maintained.
*Establishes and monitors the assignment and rotation of on-call assignments. Participates in the on-call rotation as needed and is the first notification for on-call escalations.
*Participates in architecture review sessions and critiques designs of teammates.
*Contributes subject matter expertise, including coaching members of project teams.
*Authors other solution artifacts as necessary.
*Documents solution designs and how they interact with the larger Enterprise Architecture.
*Develops Proofs of Concept to prove out designs and reduce risk to project.
*Responsible for technology design for technology solutions.
*Provides hands-on technical leadership including oversight of implementation solutions.
