Strong experience on Red hat Linux and Windows enterprise server systems. Worked with PCI projects to secure production environments. Worked with storage teams to present storage and add storage for ASM and ACFS file systems. Configurated TNS, VIP and SCAN listeners Experience with partitioning and indexing, and working with large data sets. Experience in Oracle performance tuning. Created SQL tracing and used tkprof, SQL baselines, and Grid control. Configured and scripted RMAN backup and recovery processes. Performed point in time recovery using RMAN and flashback operations. Strong knowledge of SQL, analytic queries, and PL/SQL. Provided support for Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control and Agents for database monitoring/performance/diagnostics. Experienced in setting up and maintaining Oracle GoldenGate bi-directional replication Minimum Training and Experience: Bachelors degree in any of the following; data management, data sciences, information technology, computer science, business administration, or related field 10 or more years of professional experience in an IT-related domain (programming, network architect, IT data management etc.) Experience performing complex reporting including demonstrated skill in composing logical, detailed and analytical reports that support planning and decision making is required Ability to perform benchmarking analysis and identification of process improvement opportunities is required. Experience with SQL and relational databases as well as other data management systems is required. Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants who in addition to meeting the minimum qualification possess the following: Experience with high Availability 9i and 10g Real Application Clusters (RAC) databases in UNIX and LINUX environments.
