Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery and file maintenance. Responds to customer reports of problems, system performance anomalies, and /or general inquiries. Includes application code troubleshooting and design, programming, testing, and debugging of software patches/fixes Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc. Monitors and maintains software licensing and maintenance agreements Prepares activity and status reports regarding the activities to which they are assigned, and any other duties and/or responsibilities as may be determined appropriate by the employees direct supervisor.
