The team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the current KTA implementation which includes ingestion, classification, image clean up, extraction, interfacing with external web apis, and exporting of extracted data. The document set that extraction is applied to is has over 30 different classifications and more than 12,000 different formats. The ideal candidate will be someone who understands what it means to extract information off of semi structured documents, the methodologies used to improve overall extraction and classification results, and the impacts of changes as they pertain to overall system performance. In addition, the candidate will have a healthy knowledge of what metrics need to be gathered and how to gather them to direct next steps to reduce error rates in extraction. Key Accountabilities: Design/develop extraction models for Kofax Total Agility 7.3+ system (75%) Identify, validate, and implement extraction of key data elements from a highly diverse and large set of insurance documents. Review extraction results over time to determine trends that will define what to concentrate on for extraction Prepare design documentation and participate in design reviews when new extraction patterns are determined Submit software products for review of compliance with best practices, standards and enterprise architecture (code review) Review and refactor current code base to improve performance, extraction results, and standardize confidence levels Prepare current solution to potentially move into the cloud Participate in quality assurance and testing to achieve quality objectives (10%) Review established quality requirements and measurement metrics Apply selected testing tools and techniques Perform and/or direct defect correction that maintains or enhances application integrity Evaluate outcomes, report results and document findings according to current standards Provide system support (15%) Help trouble shoot issues that arise in different environments; code or tool related Provide timely, concise communication of incident status to appropriate personnel Document incident occurrence and resolution(s) applied using designated repositories Evaluate conditions and suggest possible strategies to minimize risk(s) of incident recurrence Consult with and direct other staff personnel as required for effective incident resolution Resolve development and support issues of high complexity or risk Interface with Kofax to define resolutions for system issues Technical Skillsets Required Working knowledge of KTA 7.3+ system admiration KTA process map creation Basic Kofax Activities .NET Activities Web Service Activities KIC integration Transformation Designer Classification Extraction Locators and scripting KSMS administration and configuration SQL Server Source Control experience Desired C# FileNet P8 integration KTA SaaS Team Skillsets Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills High problem-solving acumen Comfortable working with change Enjoys being a part of a high performing team Thrives in a fast-paced environment Notes : Highly highly prefer candidates who sit on your W2 directly, however will look at candidates who require subvending as well.
