The role of the Project Coordinator will be fast-paced and focused on organizing, tracking, managing and reporting on the work of the EDS Project. Responsibilities The Project Coordinator will monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, status reports and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities include: Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures. Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings. Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings. Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings. Follow up with task owners and send reminders that tasks are due. Determining project changes. Providing administrative support as needed. Undertaking project tasks as required. Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable. Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members. Create and maintain a project management calendar. Qualifications and Skills Qualifications A bachelors degree in computer information systems or a related field of study and at least three (3) years of project coordination experience is required for consideration. Preference given to Project Coordinators who have worked on data warehouse or other data-related implementations Experience Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with MS Project and Smartsheet Preferred Ability to work on tight deadlines. Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life-cycle Skills Excellent active listening skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
