The candidate will possess strong technical, analytical, programming and critical thinking skills. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design, development and maintenance of the Enterprise Data Platform. Key Responsibilities Designs, develops and maintains reliable automated data solutions based on the identification, collection and evaluation of business requirements. Including but not limited to data models, database objects, stored procedures and views. Developing new and debugging existing ETL processes using SQL and SSIS and API technologies. Engage with IT teams such as DBAs, Security, Storage and Networking when their involvement is required to meet the project needs. Manage deployment plans to migrate schema changes between development, QA, UAT and production environments. Supports and troubleshoots the data warehouse environment (including periodically on call) Document technical artifacts for developed solutions Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Proficient with all elements of Microsoft BI stack with advanced knowledge of T- SQL, Query Tuning and Stored Procedures. Designing, developing, and test ETL processes, employing industry standards and best practices to enhance loading of data from various sources systems including the use of APIs. Experience developing, implementing and supporting Microsoft SQL Server applications (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints) and support functional/technical users and business applications. Strong programming skills in languages including but not limited to Python, Visual Studio, JAVA, .NET (VB, C#, C++, asp.net) Experience documenting, troubleshooting, and orchestrating SQL Server Agent Jobs Experience of working in projects of small to large size and complexity.
