Project experience must include new development; hardware evaluation, installation and configuration and large scale external customers. Project management experience in the public/private sector dealing with managing vendors, contracts, and invoicing. PMP Certification (Certification verification must be maintained by vendor and provided at interview) Possibility for some travel on occasion to Department of Transportation sites throughout the state. Vendor may be required to purchase $20.00 identification card for candidate, which is non-refundable. The position end date is set for the end of the Georgia DOT fiscal year. Georgia DOT may exercise the option to renew contracts in one year increments. Several successful developers have continued working for several years with contract extensions.
