As a SOA Framework Software Developer you will be responsible for developing core integration technologies supporting our clients SOA-based application framework. You will work with peer software development team members to design and enhance our service oriented platform (Software Services Framework). As a SOA Framework Developer you will be responsible for incorporating modern enterprise integration technologies, developing new software modules, integration logic, adapters, and core services for the next generation platform. Software development will include integration to existing legacy systems, refactoring integration and business logic in a service oriented manner, and working with fellow developers to enable a new generation of applications and service offerings for our clients. Some of your key duties / responsibilities will include: Developing software in an iterative / agile-like manner. Designing and developing reusable components for the Software Services Framework Designing and developing services to integrate to Sterlings existing operational platforms. Maximizing the use of modern enterprise integration technologies to accelerate time to market Ensuring high degree of quality and consistency in all deliverables by providing and actively participating in appropriate levels of unit testing, documentation, design and code reviews. Provide level 3 software engineering support escalations. Interact with other technical team members to establish platform requirements. Training and supporting development teams and operations. Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of software development experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience with mid- to large-scale software architectures, service oriented architecture principles, and enterprise integration. Minimum of 2 years of experience developing and consuming web services. Demonstrated expertise in translating conceptual designs into effective and implementable solutions. Exposure to diverse set of established and emerging software technologies. Experience in the implementation and support of system solutions in virtualized environments.
