DOAS is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the effort of refreshing our servers. The agency is currently working with our infrastructure support vendor to refresh as many as 25 servers and update some applications including Sharepoint. The Technical Project Manager will manage DOAS activities which will include working with our internal IT staff and our infrastructure partner to: develop a plan to refresh hardware for up to 29 physical servers and VMs develop a plan to upgrade some of our applications on the new hardware including moving from Sharepoint 2013 to ver 2016 develop test scripts to insure our applications are functioning as expected on the new hardware Actively and regularly communicates with all internal and external parties of project (customer, internal resources and Sr. Management) about status, risk, issues, and changes throughout a solution delivery. Drive solutions to delivery by informing all resources about the proposed solution, liaising with client and resources to eliminate obstacles and ultimately ensure a quality solution is delivered on time matching the expectations of the customer. This process includes actions such as defining business and functional requirements, producing estimates, creating project plans, ensuring all documentation is accurate and thorough and coordinating handoffs between all appropriate internal and external departments. Coordinate and lead project meetings to include defining and managing to a set agenda, summarizing meeting results in writing to internal and external clients and clearly identifying owners and timelines for follow-up items. Track outstanding action items resulting from project meetings. Our infrastructure partner is responsible for managing the activities related to infrastructure upgrades that will host the applications. Qualifications: - PMP Certification preferred. - 8 years experience in technology - at least 2 as a project manager. - Prior experience with server/hardware refreshes preferred. - Hands on experience with technology preferred. - Plan Agency Milestones / Tasks / Deliverables. - Excellent communication skills.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
