This position is the technical expert on biomedical research and health care systems security for UI Health Care. This position requires a broad and deep understanding of health care compliance and regulations, clinical and financial workflows, biomedical equipment configurations, legal issues associated with health care data management and retention, and health care business continuity and disaster recovery. Required Skills: * Experience in information security including implementation, monitoring and/or on-going maintenance of information * Experience with internet technology, network infrastructure, application security and provisioning. * Experience with Windows/UNIX/Linux/Mainframe security concepts and trends. * Healthcare, academic medical center, large health system or corporate/industry information security experience * Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent combination or education and experience.
