Will be working under the direction of a project manager on a project for client but also spans other departments. The project will be high profile and high pressure so a senior experienced resource is required. The project is centered around application development but will require the discovery of business processes, process flows and complex mathematical computations. The resource will work closely with the business as well as the application development team. The methodology could follow either Waterfall or Iterative. The Business Analyst designs and documents work flow, manages and provides solutions to new business unit ideas, trends, and concepts appropriately through the latest technological paths. The business analyst understands the customers business requirements and business process management, and then translates them to particular IT requirements. Overall: Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Knowledgeable with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Familiarity with system integration and complex technical solutions. Activities to include data analysis, business rules determination, programming and data verification. Required Skills: * Demonstrated experience gathering requirements for an application development project * Analyze and document business processes and flows * Ability to parse/manipulate data using tools such as Excel, Access, SQL loader, etc. * Ability to interpret customer requirements, lead/participate in data mapping sessions with customer, recommend solutions and document data mapping req * Ability to map, migrate, test and analyze data for import * Ability to interact with customer to verify business rules and/or clarify data analysis Desired Skills: * Experience working on a project with complex calculations * Experience working with an Agile methodology or some form of iterative development   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
