This role requires sharp attention to detail, applied through the following tasks: Assist in the creation of Section 27 Audio Visual Specification documents (with Engineering firm and client Engineering team) Review completed Section 27 Specification documents in comparison to established standards and strategy Review Pre-bid Audio Visual Riser diagrams Review Pre-bid room drawings Compare vendor bill of materials, ensure a complete system that matches the planned solution Review and comment on vendor shop drawings Follow through in obtaining post project “As-built” documentation Attend coordination meetings with Project Manager and provisioner to identify any issues. Skills/Applied tasks: Basic knowledge of Audio Visual Design Ability to follow system riser diagrams Ability to read and understand room floorplan drawings and markups InfoComm AV Technologist certificate or Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) is not required, but is a plus. Knowledge of established standards and strategy (will train) Ability to identify and coordinate received hardware elements for vendor installation Ability to follow test plans and assist with off-hour change activities as needed.
