Job Description Consultant: Audio And Video Equipment, Video Conferencing, Wireless Technology, Computers, Televisions, LCD Projectors, Cameras And Telephone, CATV / IPTV Delivery, Centralized Clock System, AV System Support

Description:

The candidate will devote 80% of their time working on audio/video installation in conference rooms etc. Will also be responsible for the support of the equipment and user training after installation. l . 20% of their time will be devoted to normal desktop support type activities.
Assist with the design, implementation and operational support of departmental AV systems that will be implemented in the new Childrens Tower and the existing main hospital. Work very closely with Capital Management, AV contractors, Construction Trades during project implementation and provide daily support of installed systems. AV systems will include Conf/ Meeting rooms, Theater Room, Event Space, Digital Signage System, Patient Observation System, CATV / IPTV delivery, Centralized Clock system and other supported AV systems.



Required Skills:


* Working knowledge of audio and video equipment, video conferencing, wireless technology, computers, televisions, LCD projectors, cameras and telephone
* Provide in-depth support to a variety of complex applications, hardware and software issues. Investigate and evaluate new hardware and software.
* Recommend software and hardware requirements. Provide input and recommendations on organizational support procedures, guidelines, and policies.
* Provide input in the development of service-level documentation. Maintain existing service-level documentation.
* Assist with the implementation of approved projects, providing project support and services.
* Independently install hardware and software adhering to operational standards, organizational security and licensing requirements.
* Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
