Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes. May develop systems test plan components and test scripts. May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. May provide direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff.: 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design. Additional Job Details: Consumer Lending Technology - Credit Decision Systems is seeking a solid Business Systems Consultant supporting technology activities for process automation and operational efficiency of the disputes automation system (DASH). The DASH application is utilized by a customer facing call center and handles a high volume of users and dollars throughout the processing cycle. This resource will lead requirement discovery sessions to gather and interpret business and technical requirements and subsequently document in a clear and concise manner providing accurate information on behalf of the business partners for the team of developers to allow for high quality application implementations. Expectations include leading in full test lifecycle tasks including building and scripting test plans. This resource is expected to follow the teams Systems Development Lifecycle and will participate in testing, as well as document processes for Unit Test standards, SIT testing expectations and deliverables. Responsibilities include following the Consumer Lending Technology / Credit Decision Systems documentation protocols. Candidate will be required to partner with Disputes, Developers and Technology Project Management organizations to ensure processes are compliant and manage process improvements for development processes for increasing quality/decrease defects. Quality and follow through is vitally important and therefore this candidate must be committed to providing thorough documentation and direction leading to the accurate implementation of efficient applications. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design. Minimum Qualifications - Demonstrated understanding of complex system design and how people integrate with tools - Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale initiatives (involving stakeholders across business and technology teams) - Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, surface conflicts for re-prioritization and recommend solutions to project scope challenges and changes as they arise - Strong communication and organization skills with the ability to elicit requirements from non-technical business partners and translate to technical specifications and design - Data manipulation skills (At least basic SQL -- script-writing) required for basic business analysis Preferred Skills -Disputes experience. -Consumer Lending experience   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
