JOB DETAILS (please read in full to ensure you submit the best candidates for the positions): These resources will be working alongside the States team that manages 600 servers and all of the various applications/platforms on those servers (OTS apps, custom built apps, 365 apps, web servers and websites, etc). This team handles everything from server builds to installing and configuring the software/applications on the servers. Once software/applications are deployed, the team supports the end-user tickets when things dont work as intended. Some of the duties that will be required in this role include, but are not limited to: - Providing hands-on technical support of a complex, multi-platform technology infrastructure. - Performing system administration functions of internal and public-facing websites and hosted applications. - Administering Windows web servers. - Administering content management systems (such as SharePoint, WordPress, and Drupal). - Supporting document management systems (such as DocuShare and Laserfiche). - Working across teams and customer organizations to coordinate IT operations and system integrations. - Implementing new or updated websites, hosted applications, content management systems, document management systems, and security updates. - Implementing and testing system backups, as well as high-availability features and functions. - Managing and supporting load balancing, DNS, and SSL certificate issuing services. IDEAL SKILLS (please read in full as the skill set required is unique): Candidates MUST HAVE a solid background of professional experience related to administration of Windows web servers and administration of various applications on those servers in an enterprise environment. That said, these ARE NOT basic Windows Admin roles. The right candidates will be multi-faceted in their experience supporting not only Windows Servers and a wide variety of applications housed on them, but will also have experience administering/supporting/troubleshooting AS MANY OF the specific servers/software/applications listed below (as these are the primary systems supported by the team daily) as possible in that Windows enterprise environment.
