This new rules development function seeks a strong and experienced candidate that will report to Division of Welfare executive leadership and will be tasked with all facets of the Rules Software engineering available within or associated the OPA/OPM rules suite or associated software. Required Skills: • Hands on Experience using OPA/OPM functionality to drive business driven strategies and rules development • Hands on Experience developing business rules in OPA/OPM • Hands on Experience using OPA/OPM to perform unit and functional testing • Hands on Experience integrating Business Process Analysis with Policy requirements integrating with OPA/OPM • Hands on Experience designing, developing, and maintaining Use Cases that map clearly to OPA/OPM • Working Knowledge of how existing and emerging policy informs and drives OPA/OPM rules development • Working Knowledge of a modern welfare eligibility case management system and preferably hands on experience with Idahos Welfare Benefit Program operations, policy, and automation • Recent Experience with federal policy in at least Medicaid and Medicaid related eligibility and preferably with additional experience and/or essential knowledge in other programs including, but not limited to SNAP, TANF, and Child Care • Hands on Experience using program policy and design rules to create and present policy options and requirements to decision/law makers • Hands on Experience using policy options and requirements to create program policy and design rules • Hands on Experience in an Agile software development environment with the constructs of the agile ecosystem including, but not limited to, limited documentation, incremental deployment, backlogs, team governance, and business leadership • Demonstrated Ability to interact successfully with Agile team members and preferably in environments that had multiple agile teams • Demonstrated Ability to effectively interact with software development teams to integrate rules-related or similar automation components into an end-to-end automation process • Experience in $20M or larger multi-year government services related project • Demonstrated Flexibility in dealing with rapidly changing and evolving project objectives and timelines • Moderate Understanding of SQL to support analysis and testing activities   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
