The candidate champions Agile principles and has the ability and experience to inspire and support change at individual, team, and organizational levels.? IDHW is looking for someone with outstanding communication and facilitation skills with demonstrated experience with the application of Agile principles and Lean concepts in software development practices. The ?Agile engineer is a well experienced agilist who has strong development background to implement agile engineering practices like pair programming, test driven development, continuous integration, and other engineering practices through working side-by-side with developers and testers Required Skills: • Strong experience as an Extreme Programming (XP) practitioner and the ability to coach others on these practices. • Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle and of several software development methodologies. Senior-level skills in systems architecture, design, development, and programming in object-oriented and relational databases and client server platforms • Experience in leading technical teams; skills as coach and consultant to development organizations • Experienced software developer, especially in an Agile environment • Experienced at mentoring members of technical teams • Bring a thorough knowledge of and demonstrated experience in agile development practices and the tools used to implement a highly effective test-driven development and continuous integration process • At least 5 years experience working in a high-performing agile software development environment • At least 3 years experience implementing agile development practices and coaching new teams • Ability to both pair and mentor software developers and be a servant leader guiding teams to execute on a shared vision Desired Skills: • Certified Scrum Master; Experience as a working Scrum Master • Certified as SAFe Agile Framework Program Consultant (SPC) in version 2.x or 3.x • Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills • Experience conducting training and COPs. • Experience designing and deploying methodologies in many types of organizations   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
