Must be able to lift computer equipment, have a valid drivers license and be able to travel to various DOPL offices within the Treasure Valley to provide in-person support. • Manage computer and user accounts in Active Directory (AD). • Imaging/reimaging user computers • Good understanding of network protocols. • Receive telephone calls and emails from users having problems using computer software and hardware or inquiring how to use specific software applications, electronic mail, or Windows operation system features. • Ascertain the nature of the problem; determine problem cause, provide basic troubleshooting, and may enter information into the ITS Service Desk System. • Assist users through problem solving steps. • Communicate accurate and useful status updates. • Ability to interpret customer technical issues and determine appropriate categories and relevant information for resolving issues, and working with state ITS service desk staff in creating entries in the ticket management system.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
