The contractor will configure HP Quality Center to accomplish this and train IDOC staff on how to properly use this tool. As much as possible documentation will be in a UML format to fully support the NCOMS initiative. The contractor needs to be available to start work immediately upon award of contract. IDOC may interview qualified contractors prior to the PSO closing to help accommodate our estimated start date. The contractor is expected to work in Boise and may also be required to work in correctional institutions. All contractors are required to have an IDOC background check and be fingerprinted. The contractor must follow the IT timesheet requirements (please see attached process document.) The contractor will evaluate and document the current IDOC software testing process. The contractor will work with the IDOC development team to help design, implement and document a software testing environment using HP Quality Center v11.5. The contractor will help design and document a testing strategy that will support IDOCs Agile Scrum framework. Required Skills: The contractor must demonstrate expertise with: * HP Quality Center v11.5 * Testing Java applications * Working with business analysts to help write user stories and defining acceptance criteria * Developing test plans, test scripts, test cases * Creating and maintaining UML supported documentation * Design and support automated testing * Transferring knowledge to and training support staff to fulfill required ongoing support roles The contractor must also have experience working within the Agile development framework The contractor must be tactful, must have outstanding English verbal and writing communication skills, must work out of the IDOC Central Office located in Boise, Idaho.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
