Use of Agile / Test Driven Development is a requirement. Experience testing applications and infrastructure in a J2EE/WebSphere/Linux environment Resource will be expected to document test requirements, create test plans and test cases, execute test cases on variety of infrastructure projects in System Technology. Use of Agile / Test Driven Development is a requirement. Team member will need to lead discussions with the developers to create stories to test. Resource should a have strong communication and testing skills. A background in Software Engineering (SWE) tools and processes is not required but is a plus. Responsibilities: - Coordinate project testing, often including testing involving multiple test teams - Review new testing needs and activities and delegate assignments to team members - Mentor other Test Analysts on testing disciplines - Drive out detailed testing requirements and expectations - Develop test strategies, plans, schedules and test cases - Test software and infrastructure technologies, with a focus on open source products - Execute test cases and create defect reports using industry standard reporting techniques Skills/Experience Needed: - 3+ years experience leading testing efforts and onsite and offshore test teams - Extensive experience with requirements gathering, creating testing strategies, detailed test planning, and test case creation - Experience testing applications and infrastructure in a J2EE/WebSphere/Linux environment - Experience using various test and project methodologies (Agile preferred) - Defect management experience - ITIL or Service Management experience is preferred - 1+ years of Java development experience would be nice to have Required Interpersonal Skills: - Strong leadership skills and qualities a plus - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Strong coordination and facilitation skills - Technical aptitude - Strong initiative, ability to work with little direction or supervision - Flexibility, ability to adapt quickly to change   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
