This new project will include a strong service-oriented architecture, HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript client side technologies, C#/WCF/MVC4 server side technologies, an extensibility framework, a database redesign, internationalization, and will make use of security best practices Candidates will be expected to assist in the design and development stages as well as coding to ensure a high quality, scalable and innovative application. Experience as a lead developer and architect on large transactional, secured web application development projects is required. The project utilizes the latest technologies available in developing solutions for Open Solutions/Fiserv bank and credit union clients. Contract engagement is expected to last 12-24 months Duties Include: • Provide senior-level systems design, development, programming, consultation and support for next generation internet banking application using C# ,.NET 4.5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, MVC4, WCF, Entity Framework, Oracle & SQL Server databases, and other technologies. • Conduct design and code reviews across project work • Serve as a technical expert in the evaluation and testing of the capabilities, characteristics and requirements of existing and emerging information systems technologies • Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation; provide technical leadership and assistance to colleagues, users and staff. • Design, develop and implement unit and scenario testing for existing code base and for new functionality under development. • Participate in paired programming to work with other developers on new application code. • Mentor team members in adopting technologies and tools that you are already familiar with, but which may be new to them. Qualifications • B.S. Computer Science • Experience on multiple transactional secured web application development projects • 7+ years experience developing with .NET and C# • Extensive experience with .NET 4.0, C# and technologies such as WCF • Extensive experience with MVC framework and architecting multi-layer applications • Extensive experience with JQuery, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS3, HTML5 and .NET controls • Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply knowledge to solve technical and business problems • Strong SQL skills a must, experience with Oracle a plus • Strong problem solving skills • Deep knowledge of software engineering and computer science fundamentals • Experience with SOA, Web Services and large distributed systems • Solid experience with Agile development, in particular Scrum • End to end experience across the entire software development lifecycle • Track record of shipping production ready software • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative effort   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
