The candidate is expected to gather requirements, write behavior and design specifications for software developers and to create test plans for feature testing on a systems bench or machine as needed. Typical Day: The individual will work with Project Leads, Software Architects and other Software Developers to obtain clarity on feature requirements using meeting settings or through software development tools. The individual will be responsible for system verification and validation of highly leveraged technology in Clients next generation electronic architecture. This space will span a wide range of hardware and software systems including machine security, operator identification systems, short range wireless recognition systems, and vision systems. Education Requirement BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Technical Skills: Familiarity with Agile development practices and methodologies 2+ years of experience creating and managing requirements & detailed design documentation 1+ year of experience with CAN/J1939 communication and CANalyzer (scripting preferred) 1+ year of experience with short range wireless technology such as Bluetooth and DSRC (desired) Ability to debug in C/C++ developer environments (desired) Soft Skills Required Excellent written and verbal communication (ability to coordinate with global teams)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
