Essential Duties / Responsibilities: Define and document application architectural guidelines and patterns used across the programs services. Such work includes: Selection/design of implementation patterns, frameworks, libraries, and technologies used within our services Design of APIs (C#, HTTP) that support a good developer experience, meet performance requirements, and support 3rd party integration with our services Ensuring compliance with data privacy and security frameworks. Implement libraries and frameworks used across the programs services. This work includes: Developing, functional testing, and performance testing new, or new versions, of our core libraries and frameworks Ensuring the design provides an efficient developer experience when using the library/framework creating example projects that demonstrate the use of the library/framework and assisting/mentoring the development teams as they pick up the library/framework Serve as a technical consultant to other technical leads and developers and providing feasibility and implementation information. Serve as a technical consultant to developers and development managers providing design support and review for smaller portions of individual services Redesign ISDH Gateway (SSO) application to next level. Excellent large-scale design and implementation skills with .net programming (C/C++/C#/JAVA/etc.). Strong architecture and design experience in .NET technologies including MVC framework, C# programming language. Experience working with structured data formats (e.g. XML), Azure cloud service, and Azure Devops for build and deployment Experience in reengineering existing solutions from different platforms and converting applications into latest .Net Framework. Proven background as an architect and designer of service-oriented enterprise applications. Proven track record of successful team leadership resulting in desired outcomes. Experience implementing enterprise level, web applications with focus on scalability, and security with rewriting/refactoring/re-architecture. Experience in working in a diverse environment collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams focused on delivery. Experience in communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience evaluating new technologies for their appropriateness to proposed solutions, including assessing strategic and/or tactical benefits. Work with Program team members on detailed business requirements, understanding business processes and technology, agency standards, and ensuring project goal alignment. Work with project manager to ensure project plan is maintained and project milestones are being met. Has previously transformed immature product or application architecture approaches, and supporting processes and artifacts, into mature environments with continually maintained, reference-able artifacts. Has developed application platforms and workflows (and related data models) from immature starting points, utilizing enterprise tools, up to mature and supportable Products.
