This exciting phase of development will include the implementation of a new SOA framework and data access layer to support real time data availability and exchange between banking systems. Candidates will be expected to assist in the design and development stages as well as coding to ensure a high quality, scalable and innovative application. Experience as a lead developer or architect on large transactional, secured financial web application development projects is required. Knowledge of Credit Card systems is preferred. The project utilizes the latest technologies available in developing solutions for OSI clients of banks and credit unions. Contract engagement is expected to last 9-12 months Duties Include: • Provide senior-level systems design, development, programming, consultation and support for developing secured internet financial applications using C# , .NET 4.0, MVC, CSS, JQuery, Entity Framework, Oracle 11, MS SQL and other technologies. • Participate in design and code reviews with other team members across project work • Serve as a technical lead in the evaluation and testing of the capabilities, characteristics and requirements of existing and emerging information systems technologies • Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation; provide technical leadership and assistance to colleagues, users and staff. • Design, develop and implement unit and scenario testing for new functionality being development. • Participate in paired programming to work with other developers on new application code. • Mentor team members in adopting technologies and tools that you are already familiar with, but which may be new to them. Qualifications • B.S. Computer Science • Experience on multiple transactional secured web application development projects • 7+ years experience developing with .NET and C# • Extensive experience with .NET 4.0, C# and technologies such as WCF, WPF • Extensive experience with MVC framework and architecting multi-layer applications • Extensive experience with JQuery, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, HTML and .NET controls • Experience in developing Financial Service and Credit Card applications • Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply knowledge to solve technical and business problems • Strong SQL skills a must, experience with Oracle a plus • Strong problem solving skills • Deep knowledge of software engineering and computer science fundamentals • Experience with SOA, Web Services and large distributed systems • Solid experience with Agile development, in particular Scrum • End to end experience across the entire software development lifecycle • Track record of shipping production ready software • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative effort   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
