Description :

Contract position for IT System Engineer responsible for activities such as patching Windows and Linux systems. Software includes operating systems and 3rd party software on the assets. The position will monitor and respond to antivirus systems alerts, security event log activity, and configuration changes in the environment. These systems fall into scope for NERC CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) requirements, reside in a regulated environment, and are critical to the operation of the business. The candidate must have experience with and understand the importance of meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance deadlines. Candidate must effectively communicate with clients, peers, and supervision. Five to seven years of experience with patching/upgrading software and working in a Corporate environment a must. Experience in a regulated environment and ITIL change control a plus.
