This role will work out of EEC in Boston. The successful candidate must have extensive experience and knowledge of business analysis process along with application development life cycle, maintenance and support processes. This individual must leverage collaboration, consensus building and indirect reporting relationships to influence leadership, peers and key stakeholders within EEC and across EOEs matrixed organization. This individual will serve as the principal BA for EOE ITs BRC project, the objectives of which are to (a) re-architect EECs current application for running BRCs (BRC Navigator) to achieve greater integration and interoperability with other applications and platforms in EECs portfolio, including but not limited to early education provider licensing and workforce applications; and (b) retire an existing suite of legacy applications while adhering to high standards for data quality. To that end, the individual listen to and translate business needs into high-level technical specifications, translating them into epics, stories, and tasks for developers. Additional Responsibilities: • Collaborate with other functional representatives on an Agile delivery team to build systems that end-users highly value, are consistent with the architecture design, and satisfy strategic and business objectives • Engage with product owners and user/user proxies to slice and translate requirements into high quality deliverables • Create Use Acceptance Test Plans and assist business team with User Acceptance Testing • Provide support to the QA in writing test scripts and perform content review for necessary test plans and training and manuals • Actively participate with diverse development teams (architects, developers, UX designers, other BAs, etc.) to create solutions that meet business needs in an Agile setting • Partner with stakeholders by sharing subject matter expertise on features and functions and uncovering operational requirements • Partner with business to decompose requirements into stories, uncover associated workflows, data and business rules as well as define acceptance criteria based on real world scenarios • Partner with business to analyze and prioritize enhancement requests and bugs to determine solutions that do not negatively impact other system features • Lead design walkthroughs, demos and functionality feedback sessions with internal and external stakeholders • Foster a culture of dedication, teamwork, problem solving, and continuous improvement • Move the BRC project forward by stepping into other functional roles (testing, iteration management, etc.), when applicable • Mentors/trains other new functional and delivery team members on Agile Methodology • Helps build BA standards and best practices across EOE IT Qualifications Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: • 7+ years of hands-on BA experience working with multiple IT technology applications platforms (business and functional requirements elicitation, translation and documentation) • 7+ years of experience in facilitating design and use case discussions • 5+ years of project management experience; managing business deliverables in the full life cycle, from inception to implementation • Experienc   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
