Define and develop business requirements and functional specifications for a new/enhanced software system. The SBA will be responsible for conducting feasibility study of existing systems, creating use cases from a backlog of requests for enhancements, data conversions and integration with existing enterprise applications. The SBA will work with business users to plan and document user requirements and use cases. Serve as the primary contact between the technology team and business users; manage and support expectations of business owners. Collaborate in end-user training development and implementation. Work with help desk operations to create and implement support procedures. The SBA will facilitate change management activities between the project team and IT service groups, and participate in all phases of the project lifecycle with emphasis on business requirements from development to the roll-out of enterprise applications. This position is located in North Quincy, Massachusetts. Responsibilities: • Provides business systems analysis and process redesign expertise, interacting with business partners to clearly define and document requirements and use cases. • Gather requirements for IT development projects by conducting interviews; workflow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions. • Evaluate information from multiple sources and help distinguish user requests from user needs. • Define precise and accurate acceptance test criteria that will be used by Quality Assurance tester and end-users to ensure that business owner intent is captured. • Understand systemic data requirements as they relate to enhancing/changing the business process or system. • Participate and coordinate required testing/validation of system enhancements and fixes, creating and executing the test cases including problem determination and resolution. • Utilize JIRA for defeat tracking; Test Tools such as Rational Quality Manager (RQM) and JAWS. • Apply project management standards ensuring obstacles and risks are identified, tracked and escalated and communicated to team members and PM accordingly. • Interface with all levels of internal client team to analyze current business and software development processes. • Facilitate and clarification of customer business need and translate them into the application and operational requirements. • Arrange client reviews of software under development, ensuring client satisfaction. Qualifications: • 8+ years of Business Analysis experience with a strong emphasis on new software development. • Proven skill and effectiveness in requirements gathering, definition, business planning, data analysis, process analysis, business and functional requirements analysis, system design, testing implementation and change management. • Skill and experience working with traditional use case-based analysis of business processes. • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels of team members and management to clarify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions. • Experience leading solutions from ideation, planning, execution, and deployment. • Demonstrated experience solving business and technical issues while supporting colleagues in a coaching and mentoring capacity. • Ability to adapt to evolving business processes and operations.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
