Position will work closely with RMV peripheral vendors, business and IT stakeholders. These projects encompass a variety of disciplines ranging from RMV peripherals, printers and scanners, Idemia equipment upgrades and software patching scheduling and coordination. Projects will require a high level of collaboration and communication with the vendors, RMV business, and IT resources during the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is eager to support, has good coordination skills, and willing to take administrative tasks together with project coordination activities. Description ? Coordinate hardware equipment and software deployment schedule with vendors, RMV business and Service Centers ? Coordinate POC efforts with vendors, MassDOT IT infrastructure and Application teams ? Lead Idemia upgrades and patching includes aligning on timelines with vendor, IT and Business Stakeholders, and RMV Customer Engagement manager. Coordinating QA and UAT testing, deployment to training workstations, production roll out and verification ? Identify unique configurations or if needed specific customization efforts ? Submit purchase request forms for RMV application related software, hardware and professional services ? Maintain software and hardware inventory – Atlas Workstations, printers, scanners, IP address management etc. ? Work with EOTSS, MassDOT IT and Atlas Application teams to coordinate infrastructure updates, hardware or network changes ? Work with Idemia, and Atlas teams on hardware and software changes in Service Centers ? Work with CEM and partners on Microsoft patching for Atlas and related RMV systems includes reviewing monthly patching schedule, submitting related Change Requests and ensuring key external partners are notified of scheduled maintenance ? Coordinate Application Penetration Testing efforts includes ? Coordinating activities with MassDOT Information Security and Atlas Application team ? Ensure remediation plan is documented and communicated to IT management ? Confirm issues and outages and work with RMV CEM to coordinate communication to RMV Business Support and IT Stakeholders as needed ? Interface with Verifone on Pin Pad and Keypad device issues ? Interface with Project Managers for updates to scope, issues, risks, progress, changes and budget impacts ? Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures ? Support Equipment ordering and implementation for RMV projects ? May be required to run small projects with full delivery cycles. ? May perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by department head. ? Facilitate communication upward and across department entities ? Adhere to and stay informed of MassDOT and EOTSS security policies and directives ? Follow standards for all environments ? Work with appropriate technical staff and/or users to resolve production problems. ? May require working after normal scheduled hours to resolve the issues ?
