The ServiceNow Lead Solution Architect will be accountable for the overall design and configuration of the Enterprise wide ServiceNow platform in support of our Clients programs and projects. The Lead Solution Architect will be accountable for designing business solutions in response to specific business needs that are fit for purpose, compliant and adhere to all of our Clients operational, architectural and design standards and principles. As a ServiceNow subject matter expert, the Lead Solution architect guides business driven and strategic roadmap enhancements for the ServiceNow platform. They also ensure the integrity of solution designs from concept through implementation, balancing the architectural concerns of projects with concerns of the enterprise. As well as, ensure consideration of all design alternatives and provide technical guidance to wider project team and business stakeholders. Key Accountabilities Identify, own and support the delivery of technical solutions for our Clients ServiceNow strategic application Ensure solution architecture design and technical integrity across our Clients ServiceNow activities Co-ordinates design and development activity within a ServiceNow project, acting as custodian of plans and policy for the application Advises on the impact of change to related programs and processes Set architecture and technical direction for all ServiceNow development activity Drive cost transparency ensuring value for money and operational performance of support and development partners Ensure alignment and compliance with Governance, Regulatory and Security Policy Manage technology and architecture working groups to resolve key technology decisions and architecture approaches Develop and mentor junior SA resources Maintain ServiceNow subject matter expertise and best practice Maintain and develop positive working relationships with IT ecosystem suppliers in order to foster a collaborative environment. Market Analysis of the Solution Options Target State Solution view, Capabilities and Services View Options Analysis & Solution Recommendations including technology and deployment options & Interface needs Provide thought leadership on innovative technical solutions to business stakeholders Identify options that maximize reuse and minimize overheads to operating budgets Ensure that solutions conform to the Clients Enterprise Architecture Furthering and promote the Strategic vision of Enterprise and Domain Architecture Knowledge of various deployment and hosting environments and platforms (On Premise, Cloud, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, MS Azure, and AWS) Knowledge of Enterprise Middleware and Integration techniques Knowledge of basic Security concepts and design practices Knowledge and experience designing High Availability and Disaster recovery aspects of the solutions Knowledge of the Data Management and Reporting techniques Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing mobile solutions Obtain all required approvals Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills: 1. Educated to degree level in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 2. Experience applying standard architectures and patterns within solution designs. 3. 7 to 10 years of experience developing Solution Architectures for the ServiceNow Platform 4.
