Job Description Administrator: SQL Server 2005/2008, DBA (Windows Clustered Environment), SQL Administration, SSRS SSAS SSIS Sybase ASE IBM TSM

[Note: Start Date : 05/14/2012
End Date : 05/14/2013]

[Note: Duration : 1+ yr. contract (strong possibility of extensions)]

Description:

Responsibilities:

- The role includes basic database administration, tuning and user support of critical Investments and Trade Support MS SQL including the following.
- user requests generated by the 7-8 development resources being added for IFOS project work.
- growth in usage for MS SQL services and new database creation.
- support for evetual datamart creation and maintenance associated with the Investments roadmap.
- growth of analytics data resulting in an additional 1-2 TB of data.

Required Skills:

- sql server 2005 and 2008 DBA in windows clustered environments - Senior (3-5 years)
- SQL and stored procedure development support - Senior (3-5 years)
- maintenance, tuning and prod support in a 24 x 7 environment - Senior (3-5 years)
- SQL administration, configuration, backup / recovery, documentation - Senior (3-5 years)
- experience with SSIS, SSAS and SSRS - Intermediate (1-3 years)
- Experience with IBM TSM to perform backups and restores - Intermediate (1-3 years)
- Sybase ASE - Intermediate (1-3 years)
