Job Description: DTE is looking for a Senior-level Tester and Business Analyst to work with Endpoint Tech Experience group with upgrading its current call center telephony technology and integrating three DTE locations (Detroit, Ann Arbor and Kentwood) into one system. This candidate will need to function as the BA gathering requirements from the business and then design/development and execution of test plans/cases across all stages of services and development lifecycle following best practice processes and methods. They will implement automated test scripts, including the design of the testing infrastructure, development of test cases and the frameworks in which they run. They will be responsible for executing test cases on simultaneous efforts and report status and metrics. Will work in a highly collaborative, cross functional development team and may take a lead role on various project activities. They will also be perform as a Business Analyst from time to time, where they will be responsible for soliciting input from project managers, business representatives and stakeholders to develop and document features and both business and technical and requirements. They need to have a minimum 3 years of test management, test development and test process experience and would prefer someone with Telephony background. Ability to create XML documents, XML Schemas, Knowledge of web based technologies, application servers and patterns - Broad understanding of analysis and IT industry, e.g. emerging technologies, industry standards, support services, architectures, systems design, and systems integration and solid knowledge of analysis and accepted IT processes and methodologies. - Excellent verbal and written skills.
