Change the existing online shopping cart functionality from multiple carts to one centralized shopping cart. 2. Create a new online option for state agencies (i.e., MoDOT) to purchase and receive documents online. REQUIRED DEGREE Bachelors PROJECT DETAILS: The Land Survey Program is part of MDAs Weights, Measures and Consumer Protection Division. While the division is located within the Agriculture building on Missouri Blvd. in Jefferson City, the Land Survey Program rents a building in Rolla, MO., and the resource will be working in that location under guidance of a senior ITSD developer, also at that location. Currently, the Land Survey Index (LSI) and Corner Master Index (CMI) are available for purchase online through the Missouri Department of Agriculture (MDA) application. The application interfaces with Jet Pay to fulfill the order processing. The current problem that needs to be resolved is a customer who orders a document at the same time from LSI and CMI does not have a combined shopping cart. Instead, LSI and CMI orders are separate. This is a problem because the customer incurs two Jet Pay processing charges (one for each distinct payment), in addition to repeating data entry on their payment details. This project is an opportunity to consolidate LSI and CMI shopping carts, resulting in one payment with one Jet Pay processing charge and one instance of data entry for payment details. An additional facet of the project addresses a limitation of the Shopping Cart feature. Currently, Missouri state agency customers (i.e., Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT)) are unable to make online purchases from the Land Survey Program. This is a problem, because the manual processing takes approximately 10 steps, lasting 2-3 days.
