Must be able to work independently when needed. -Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, particularly in troubleshooting complex data and system issues -3+ years Teradata experience Preferred Skills: -Previous government experience or State of Michigan experience is a plus but not required. -Experience with cloud-based BI tools Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for complex Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure current and reliable data is available for critical business processes and decision making. • Responsible for Data Warehouse change management infrastructure and all promotions of code and ddl; performing build engineer tasks for both manual and automated promotion processes. • Responsibility for complex Linux security model on DW ETL servers. (Servers are administered by another group, but our team is responsible for the security structure and authorizes user access to the groups and sudos) • Responsibility for Teradata security and access. • Conduct data architecture reviews and audits to ensure alignment with enterprise standards • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes, and solutions • Responsible for providing support for escalated Data Warehouse issue troubleshooting and resolution. • Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to improve performance and scalability • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and effective use of enterprise data assets • Manage and support data integration processes, including ETL workflows across multiple systems • Collaborate with external vendors and third-party service providers as needed • Support patch management, system upgrades, and ongoing system maintenance   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
