We are seeking a hands-on, self-starter and team player possessing both technical and interpersonal skills; the ability to productively work remotely and onsite as needed. Must be flexible and able to multi-task to meet deadlines set by external agencies. Under supervision, business analyst will be a key contributor supporting our Application Services team and a variety of projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including developers, product owners, and subject matter experts. Candidate acts as liaison between the Information Technology department and other County departments, municipalities, and local agencies involved in the implementation, maintenance and modification of Countywide software. As a technical employee, is knowledgeable of the business practices, facilitates working meetings to collect project requirements, identifies user problems and their solutions, and determines process flow. Support programmers in determining user needs and adapting user procedures to final program implementation. May develop scope and approach document for projects. May work with a project team performing systems analysis and implementation of critical Countywide applications, which are integrated into multiple department business operations.
