Their day will include interface with these architects to deliver global design road map for the Cirrus platform These people will need: 10+ years of experience in healthplan administration Experience as a “super system analyst” Data modeling- mentioned ER Studio would be nice Experience in BPM modeling- no specific tool needed Design modules in core Cirrus Description: The Healthcare IT Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, documenting, and communicating solutions that meet the needs of business partners in the healthcare industry. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into IT functional designs that can be consumed and turned into a working application by the technical delivery teams. Designs will consist of data models, flow charts, system interaction diagrams, user interfaces, API definition, business examples, and many other pieces of documentation needed to ensure that the system meets the needs of the healthcare industry. The Healthcare IT Solutions Architect must be capable of communicating with and leading diverse groups of individuals, including employees up to the executive level with backgrounds in both business and IT. They will frequently be asked to give formal and informal presentations of system capabilities and to discuss further development of those capabilities down to a detail level. Ability to work and adapt in an ever changing environment is essential. Requirements The ideal candidate will have experience working with Health Plan Administration systems in some of these areas: Benefits Administration Provider and Network Configuration Pricing Customer Installation Member Enrollment Claims Adjudication Fulfillment Finance Billing X12 EDI Required Qualifications Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience 6+ years of experience in the healthcare industry 6+ years of experience translating Business Requirements into system solutions/design and documenting those solutions 6+ years of experience with relational database design/schema 6+ years of design experience on enterprise level applications including application logic design Experience with the following tools/techniques: ER Studio, Erwin, Microsoft Visio, Agile development, Java, SQL, XML, JSON, Enterprise Data Architect Previous experience in the following business functions is highly desired: Health plan operations, managed care operations, membership and enrollment processing, claim adjudication, capitation, premium accounting, and/or provider contracting.
