Collaborates with technical leaders on all significant systems design decisions and architectural roadmap for IT. Establishes and manages standards for application development Identifies opportunities to improve applications and processes for the team and other departments Maintain a high degree of professionalism Maintain technical currency Bring ideas to the IT table Maintain development currency Supervisory Responsibility No direct supervisor responsibility Required Education and Experience 8 or more years experience in - Web application development and Web APIs Mentoring and leading others Application analysis, design and development in C# and/or VB.NET Visual Studio and the Microsoft .NET Framework ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC Understanding of Design patterns and SOLID Design Principles Use of a RDBMS such as SQL Server and RDBMS concepts. Source Control such as Git, TFS, SVN Experience in the design and development in Angular and .NET Core Web APIs Expert knowledge of development patterns and best practices Strong understanding of UI frameworks Strong understanding of application containers Experience facilitating Joint-application-design sessions Able to effectively communicate technical matters to executive management Possess ability to create and present a cost/benefit analysis and ROI Experience creating and executing strategic plans. Proficient in Microsoft Office software Excellent verbal and written communications skills High School or equivalent Associates degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school specializing in computer programming; Or eight plus years related experience; Or equivalent combination of education and experience resulting in an advanced knowledge of programming.
