Under direct guidance, is responsible for the successful migration of data from legacy systems into SAP. Interacts with various team resources in the transformation, load and verification of data objects for the global implementation of SAP. Candidates must also have extremely strong backgrounds with SQL. Essential Functions: * Work with the various team resources to gather and understand the business rules needed for data migration. * Ability to translate business rules into SQL statements to meet the business needs. * Follow global methodologies for migrating data objects. * Work with team resources and business users to create defined reports that meet the business specifications. * Load legacy data into the enterprise system, SAP, using standard methodology to generate batch reports * Using established procedures to document the processes used for migration and report generation. Other Duties: * Assist Data Migration Lead in providing regular communication of project plan performance and task issues * Other duties as assigned Accountability/Supervision: * Will work under direct guidance but must be able to start phases of projects independently and use independent judgment when necessary. * Problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize are essential. The ability to work independently and in a team environment is highly valued. Relationships: Internal Frequent contact with members of project management, functional, development, and basis teams Qualifications: * 2+ years experience with SQL * 2+ years database administrator experience such as Access * 2+ years experience creating reports that are understood by business users * Demonstrates a willingness, aptitude and motivation to expand technical skills * Strong knowledge of software development methodologies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment * Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment * Able to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction * Ability to work hours outside of normal business hours which includes, nights, weekends or holidays.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
