The right candidate will have 5-8 years experience minimum in data projects. Be familiar with data models, data quality metrics, Meta data topics and write at least one form of ANSI SQL. The purpose of this role is to work with all our model and program managers to catalog their data as a phase 1 of a larger effort helping ensure proper controls and risk-mitigating factors are in place upstream of FCA consumption 1. Resource needs to help company create a repeatable process around data maps and creating stated linage 2. Project experience with Data Mapping and an Architect background is a nice to have or at least a working understanding of Architectural concepts 3. Experience with COLIBRA- data governance 4. Need to understand and read SQL along with strong Data Mapping skills 5. Need to be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently The application owners no longer own their data, data professionals own them now * Working with program managers to talk about what are the different sources of data, define what type data element, meaning, where does it sit in the table * Need to figure out the path that the data will go from the source where its generated, moves into integration or staging table * Once in table normalize it, make sure that they understand, description what it means * Bring over historical record of the data, data lineage * Financial algorithms live, if theres a problem, we at least know source, lineage, what it means * Define the ETL process for the map * Creating the data catalog, strong data mapping strong SQL * Demonstrated passion or fire in the belly, get engaged, be proactive, self-starter, very important Screening topics General SQL Data modeling Data mapping Data lineage Filling out metadata, create a process for filling in the blanks of meta data   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
